Default And the "lost buck threads" come marching innnn..

Well, just as someone stated a few weeks back, when a WAVE of how do i set up this, or how do i fix this if my bow is doing that, or are my bow limbs supposed to be cracked in half, etc. questions came raining in, now we see a myriad of lost buck threads start popping up. I understand that losing a buck that has been shot by an arrow is going to happen at some point, but if its happening due to carelessness or because of a lack of proper preparation for the hunting season, then people need to get in the game.

It just shows me how important it is to properly tune and prepare for the season MONTHS before the season. Don't wait until the season is a week away to figure out if your bow is good to go or not. If we want to hunt the elusive whitetail deer, we need to take the entire responsibility of the hunt. Simply shooting is not hunting. Wounding a deer or not finding a deer is a waste of that deers life. I hate to see that even as a hunter. If that deer's resources can't be used in some fashion by us, the hunter, then we dont deserve to hunt them. Therefor if we lose that animal, we arent using its resources.

Lets hope in the weeks to come that the lost buck threads slow down. For the guys with seasons upcoming, if you havent already, start preparing now. (Even thoug you're already late)

Sorry for the rant, but I just hate seeing the lost deer threads although I KNOW this is part of the sport, I'd still like to minimize them as much as possible.
