I took my Bow down to the Bow Shop today and had a Sight, a Peep, a Loop, and a cable guard installed. I also centered up my rest (it was way off) and checked the pull weight (42#). I only got to shoot a few before dark, but my arrows are flying straight. I still need to get used to using the peep and my release, but I'm already shooting better that I was. I also got a reminder that the Bow is a deadly weapon. I was coming to full draw using my release when I brushed the trigger with my finger. It let go and I sent an arrow into the side of my shed. It penetrated a 5/8" sheet of wood siding! Fortunately, handling firearms has drilled in to keep the weapon pointed in a safe direction, so nothing was there but the shed. But it reinforced how touchy the release is.

Yea you should practice having your trigger behind the release button at all times until you are ready to shoot. Be safe
