Default Hows everyones mast this year so far?

Im seing an average of acorns, but cant say they have been any better than past years. Anybody seeing anything different than last year?

Heavy acorn, white/red here. Just got back from High Peaks prep. trip, and noticed some beechnut crop, but not heavy, although tough to really tell through the canopy.

Acorns aren't as abundant as they usually are where i hunt in CT. 2 years ago you practically needed a hard hat by my favorite stand, the other day there were a few on the ground, nothing spectacular. I noticed a couple of big oaks not producing at all while others were producing some.

I'm seeing them up in the trees (I climb trees for a living) but their not dropping yet, still too early. The white oaks should be happening this year also. I believe they drop every other year, at least "in my neck of the woods".

I was out checking cameras and saw a ton of acorns on the few oaks where i hunt. No feeding activity tho? Northwest ohio

the report I get from pa is lots of acorns , confirming the above posts , the last 2 years were very slack
