Default How early do you get into your stand?

Whether you're going out for a morning hunt before daylight or heading to the stand for an afternoon hunt...how early do you like to get situated and set up for your hunt?

I like to be in my stand ready to go at least a half hour if not more before I can shoot.

Im terrible in the mornings, so if im there before light, im satisfied. I hate waking up... In the evenings I like to get in around 4-4:30 in the summertime hours, and 3-330 after daylight savings time.

I am lucky if I make a morning hunt anymore.Hard to get the mattres off my back.Sad part is I LOVE watching the woods wake up in the mornings.I do hunt mornings when the rut comes in and I am there right at day break.

Evening hunts i am usually in the stand 3-4 hours before dark.

I will make an all day sit or 2 a year during the rut if I can.Not easy to do with kids.

I usually like to be in stand and ready anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour before first shooting light.

I generally like to be up in the tree and setled an hour before first shooting light. The public land I'm hunting this year says that you can't enter the park until an hour before legal shooting light. That would probably put me on stand may be 20 minutes before legal shooting light if I don't rush through there. I will definitely be pushing that hour prior limit if I can. In the afternoons, I like to be setup about 4-5 hours before sunset.

For mornings, I like to be situated and all done moving around with 1/2 hour of darkness left. Fro evening hunts, kind of depends on my mood, I'm usually there way earlier than necessary though.
