Default G5 Tekan vs Rage

I have been shooting Tekans for awhile, but thinking of going to the Rage any thoughts?

Either in my opinion is a great head. To be honest the only reason I shoot tekans instead of Rage is that I like to try something a little different then what everyone else on the face of the earth is using.

I made the exact opposite switch.

Rage to Tekan. I will never go back.

Better penetration, better durability.

Plus like tmont above said, I prefer to not follow the leader and shoot what nobody else is shooting.

I'm really liking the new tekkan t3's because they have that metal retaining clip on them. To me that says I'm not opening till i hit the animal. which to me a rubber o-ring does not.

Just my thoughts take them for what there worth.

Ditto on that. I love my Tekans

How do they hold up deflection wise? Thats the only thing about them that scares me...It seems like there is a possibility that they might deflect? MAybe im wrong... idk?

As for as converting from tekan to rage....I think that is a bad idea. rage lack penetration regardless of what anyone says. However in the 4 years of using them i have never lost ANY animals.

My last 6 deer have been with rage and i watched 5 of the six go down! 3 passed completly thru and the other three stuck. Awesome blood trail on all of them! Ive never shot Tekans but im just letting you know my experiance with Rage! Hope this helps!

tekkan! i shot 3 deer with the same head last year, 2 nice bucks and a small doe.

they work great, and just make sure when putting the o ring on the blades are in the right place and there will be no problems at all.
