Default First archery Elk hunt in many years

I moved home to Wyoming exactly a year ago. Tomorrow I will be able to purchase my long awaited resident elk hunting license and head out for my first archery elk hunt in more than 10 years. I can not even describe how excited I am. I haven't been sleeping great the last couple of days.

We are hunting a new area since the area we usually hunt the wolves have moved the elk out of. I am just hoping we will be able to locate some elk and make some good stalks on them, or if they are up to it, call some in.

Good luck to everyone else out there with an open season.

good luck. The elk tend to be a little quiter with the wolves around, I learned that quick last year. But they will be there, get in the deep canyons...
