Yes. I sent for the shirt and pants when it first came out. Back when it was in advantage camo. I liked it so much I got the jacket too. I ordered it without ever seeing it just the catalog, I lucked out. It is the best camo clothing I have. It has not faded. It is quiet and it is waterproof unless it pours. Burrs and hitchikers will not stick to it like cotton or chamois. I use it for deer and turkey and it is my favorite. I would buy it again.

Definately my favorite camo material. Yes, it is as good as Cabelas says. Tough as iron, doesn' t fade, and dries extremely fast.

Hey Natty, is it wind resistant? Also is it comfortable? It looks like it might be scratchy. Thanks

<20yds - yes, Microtex is pretty wind resistant. It is quite as fleece, and is not scratchy on the skin like wool is.

Yes. Same experience here too. I have a full outfit as well...pants, hat, jacket, shirt...and I do agree with what the others have to say. I have the insulated jacket and tend to use the outfit towards the end of our bow season...late October/early November and it works beautifully. My only problem was that I had to order the jacket size one larger as I have a rather long torsoe and the regular 2XL jacket was a bit too short.

A buddy of mine, however, has the same pants and they faded for him within a season. I am guessing that it was because of the way he washed them but I cannot verify that.

Microtex is my second favorite fabric behind saddle cloth.

Yes it is very wind resistant, like Olink says, and it is comfortable to wear against your skin not scatchy at all.

PAbowhuntr, your buddy must have done something to his in the laundry to make it fade, mine must be 5 or 6 years old and it looks brand new. I only wash it in scent free detergent with no dyes. And I' ll bet I have sprayed a gallon of scent killer on it.

Frank, tell your buddy to send the pants back, Cabela' s is very good about replacement. I once sent some fleece gortex camo back almost 2 years old because it did not live up to what they said it would and they sent there newest compable suit to me no questions asked.

Good idea. I will pass the suggestion on to him when I see him this week. Thanks.
