Default Hard antler?

I was curious how many guys/gals are seeing bucks without velvet already? I got a trail cam pic of a small 7pt still in total velvet, but Thurs morn (in the dark driving) I saw a nice 8pt in hard antler.

I haven't personally seen any but I'm starting to see game cam photos of a few.

A good friend of mine "Phipps" sat an alphalpha field 2 days ago and filmed 8 different bucks all still in full velvet except for a small 4 pt that was coming out.

Velvet shedding will vary from state to state, even county to county depending on food sources genetics, etc... Its hard to say but in the years prior We have saw bucks in velvet a couple week into season here in KY. Hopefully they are in velvet a week from now because we are going to try our best to put one down in velvet.

Thanks
Cory

Here in Southern Minnesota I got a pic of a nice buck with velvet hanging off the antlers, and he was all bloody. The date was August 29th.

Had a small 8 full velvet on the 27th and came to trim trees the following day and switched cards and the same buck was fully shed just under 24 hours later
