Default Chipmunk hunting with bow (Video)

I just found a video from a couple years ago of my buddy and I hunting chipmunks with a bow, and I figured I'd put it up on youtube. There's a couple of pretty cool shots.

Not trying to be funny, but similar to chicken! Same goes for red squirrel!

Steve, I'm curious if that's how they teach you to spell curious in Ontario?

It's technically illegal to kill chipmunks in PA.

I actually have tried chipmunk before, but we cooked it over a fire so it just tasted like charred meat.

Why is it illegal to kill chipmunks in PA?

There is no open season on them, thus they are protected as clearing stated in our game laws.

In Pa. all birds and mammals are protected. Only species designated for hunting are legal game, but in their respective seasons and with the hunter properly licensed.

I think it's a good law myself. I see no redeeming value in shooting something dead just for giggles. Killing is serious business.
