Kansas Hunters
Hey all. I'll be hunting Kansas for the first time this year and wanted to see if I could squeeze anyone familiar with the area for some info. I'll be in unit 11 near the town of Hepler, not too far from fort Scott. I'm heading out to scout and hang stands in a few weeks.
Is anyone familiar with this area?
How is the hunting?
Any sporting goods stores in the area where I can pick up a tree stand or two?
Any local butchers anyone would recommend?
Again, I have yet to step foot in Kansas, so I'm sure any info will be very helpful.
