Default Couple quick questions about Slick Trick tips.

I am going to try these out and have a couple last questions.

Any opinions on the standard vs. the magnums??? I didn't even know there were two kinds until today,

and

I went to buy some at Gander Mt today, but they didn't have any. Does Gander just not carry them? Does anyone know where the cheapest place to get these heads would be?

You can get them cheap on ebay. I just bought two 3 packs of the 100 grain magnums for $45.00 including shipping. The magnums have a 1 1/8" cutting diameter while the regulars have a 1" cutting diameter.

i pay $25 for a three pack at the local archery shop - $45 seems awfully steep.

I have tried several brands over the 11 years I have been bowhunting. Slick Tricks are my favorite. I love 'em!

Can't go wrong with either. I used standards last year and took an elk, 3 whitetail bucks, and a huge doe with them. They fly and hit exactly where you aim, and that is a huge deal with a fixed head. A Tough and accurate head.
