Default New to bowhunting....

so my buddy and i started shooting our bows today. we are both using our dads old bows...he went in and had his re stringed...and the knock on my bow is broke so i will have mine does as well...any tips or tricks for a new archer?? just for the record i have a whole new respect for archer who can shoot accurately and consistently!!! just a lil info...i spend most of my time over in trail cameras and reshwater fishing...i have been hunting for 8 years...still feel like im a noob...anything is appreciated!!! ohh btw all i have is a ball bearing release and a bow...

All I can tell you Bow hunting is addicting! Just keep watching the bow hunting forum and spend a lot of time in the technical forum, it will help. Don't be afraid to ask specific questions.

This is an awesome sport, I've been bow hunting since 1966, I don't even own a hunting rifle. I had one once, but I gave it away.
