Default Pop up blind question

Hey guys I got a pop up blind for christmas and I was wondering when I should go out and put it in the woods. I am in michigan and our bow opener is October 1st, I was thinking it should be in the woods for at least 2-3 weeks so the deer get used to it but I have only been hunting for a year so I'm not 100% certain.

If you haven't done so already, get the popup out of the box and let it air out. They can have a chemical smell to them at times. If you can get it out there and leave it set up without concern for it growing legs...I think it can't hurt. Also ...use the stakes to pin down the corners to make sure it stays where ya put it.
