I just got a new bow. It has been 15 years since I had a new one. I am needing to outfit it with a rest and other stuff. I just saw a Quicktune Freedom no string drop away rest and was wondering if it is any good.My bow is a Browning Vapor. I would like some suggestions if this is not a good rest. I am trying to keep the cost under $60.I was told by someone that he will never shoot a bow again unless it has a drop away.

I've heard several bad reviews on the Freedom rest. I would HIGHLY recommend the Vapor Trail Limbdriver rest. Super easy to set-up and is an excellent rest for hunting, 3d, etc.
Send me a PM if you're a lefty, I can get you a great deal on a NAP QT2100.
I don't know anything about the Freedom, I'm partial to my Trophy Taker's and the couple of NAP's I've had were also good. I have an assortment of NAP, TT, GK, and a VG that I've used, all seem pretty decent.
X2 just means that he shares the same opinion as double drops 24. QAD makes a great rest but I'd recomend spending a little more and get the LD or HD models. They have a mechanism that prevents the launcher from bouncing back and hitting the arrow. I have the HD, bought it from MeanV2 here on HNI.
