Well Day 1 has passed and everyone had arrived by 6pm.....and of course the smack talk about todays shoot began
It was nice seeing everyone again as we all caught up on some things, shared a few good hunting stories and discussed what will hopefully be another good hunting season. I can still taste the bologna that Doug and Rob passed around....boy does Rob like Garlic !! PA Doug and I pulled out the TV/DVD player and threw in the final edit of my Colorado elk hunt.....you knew I couldn't go without talking elk hunting....and speaking of that, we have concerns about Ohio Dougs fire starting skills for his upcoming trip this fall..
We had a good time last night which carried on well past 1:00am. However we did notice that Ohio Doug had fallen asleep in his chair
......we think he just ran out of gas.
So with that, we all went in our directions for a half nights rest before the big shoot.....now all I can say is that they were to be here at 8, but Josh was....well...you know where...and they didn't want to leave him two years in a row.
Its off to Freeport for breakfast and over to Dave's by 10am for the shoot....elk burgers are ready for this afternoon's lunch !
