Default Arrow Rest Question - HELP

OK, was outside shooting tonight and I currently use the Vital Gear Kazaway arrow rest. I noticed that the set screw that holds the cord had fallen out and now the cord is about 80% cut !

My question (concern) is should I replace this or go to a more simplified arrow rest. Being that I am going to New Mexico elk hunting I don't want a failure and this has me worried..should I be ???

If you like the rest just replace the string. If you've lost confidence in it, look for another rest. There are lots of choice, all have pro and cons.

Sounds to me like all you need do is replace the cord and set screw. If the original held up a decent length of time I see no reason to replace the rest with something else if you like it.

well if you have lost some confidense in it then i would buy a whisker biscut but if you are comfortable with that rest then replace it and make sure that problem with the screw doesnt occur again like tightening all the loose parts down but i currently use a whisker biscut and i love it i cant find nothing wrong with it at the moment but it hasnt failed me yet so i hope i could help a little with your decision along with the other guys.
