Default Matthews Legacy?

Ok... heres the story. I came across a guy online, he's selling a Matthews Legacy that comes with a muzzy zero effect drop away rest and a matthews arrow web quiver. Apparently he is getting married and needs cash, so he is wanting to trade for my bow which is a 5 year old Martin Jaguar with a trophy ridge site, sims s-coil, and a trophy taker rest. He also wants $100.00 cash. The reason is wanting my bow and the $100.00, is because he still wants to be able to hunt this year. I paid around $350.00 for bow and then spent maybe another $200 on upgrades.

Have any of you ever shot the Legacy? What did you think, and does this sound like a pretty good deal to you?

Thanks fellas,

Dustin.

They are really good bows, and imo was one of their peak bows that came out. That and the outback...

Id go for it...

Super smooth draw, plenty quiet, and decent speed.

After calling a couple local archery shops, i have decided not to make the trade. Seems his bow is only worth about a hundred dollars more than mine at this point, but if you factor my accessories, they are pretty equal. The pro shops i called said that the Mathews Legacy is not that much more advanced than what i am currently shooting. Think i'll just wait and maybe get the new Reezen next season.

I have the Mathews Legacy and I love it. Every time I think about buying a new bow I just take my Legacy out in the backyard shoot it a few times and buying a new bow is gone out of my mind. I'd make the trade.
