Funny story for a beginner

So i started shooting bow about a year ago, i was previous shooting a high country machined supreme, a monster 41 inches ata so i decided i saw a good deal and bought a fred bear element yesterday, put my wisker biscuit on it, hhh single pin sight, carbofast 12 inch stabilizer, and today i went to have a temp nock put on to give it a few shots to make sure i wanted to keep it. First shot a little weird shot straight but low, strange considering i hadnt moved my sights at all from the previous bow. Second shot high right, 3rd shot and i hear a crack...i had robin hooded the 2nd arrow and my last shot was touching the 2nd shot. not bad for my first 4 arrows on a new bow i would say. Tomorrow i will go get it setup right, peep sight, kisser, d loop

Does anyone else shoot the fred bear element? i must say it is a world of difference in size alone from my other bow

I Shoot a Bear Truth and when I got it set up i shot two arrows at the shop and the second arrow split the nock on the first one. I think the whole Bear lineup is pretty good quality for the money. Good luck this season with your new Element

My dad just bought an element. he loves it. i have shot it a couple times and it is a good shooting bow for the money.

once you have everything on practice alot. you will have to change ur sights. every bow shoots different. also, after you shoot it you will most likely have to do some tweeking on it. on new bows, the strings and cables stretch. shoot a couple hundred arrows and you will see what i mean. just keep shooting and get her worn in. good luck.

One of my buddies has had one for 3-4 years and killed MANY deer with it. HE has put it through hell and its held up just fine (besides a set of strings of course).

next bow will be a bear proplery. I am wanting to get one next season my reflex is about 4 years old but i have really shot alot with it. If i get my muzzleloader this year i will get a bow next season. Unless i end up back in ky which has a good chance of happening.
