Default Back yard NY Buck

This morning did not start well. Walking to my stand at 6:00 am. Turkeys in the trees busted me, Then as I was getting to my stand I heard the woosh alert of Deer ( they were in the food plot behind my stand)
As the morning broke daylight there were Does every where( at least 20 ) At 7:30 a nice Buck came in at 35 yds, he started chasing the Does. I next saw him at 120yds. He was just standing under a huge Pine tree, I gave 3 grunts and he headed my way. He went out into the hardwoods and walked back out at 20 yds. I was already at full draw, he took 2 steps into the clearing and the Rage 2 blade found its mark.
After waiting 40 minutes I found my arrow a clean passthru, I started tracking into the pine trees and there he was ( 40 yds away) He died at 8:05 am It was the longest time ever that I watched a Buck and harvested him. A real nice 8 pt
All this happened on our little farm ( 18 acres)and only 400 yds from my house
