You'll be hard pressed to find a better dropaway than a Limb Driver whether you shoot feathers or vanes.

I like the Trophy Ridge " Drop Shot " dropaway but it is a bit pricey though and also quite easy to set up. Made with a lot of tephlon to coat the steel to help keep things quite..

I have to hostage pro rest, and so far no complaints but the brushes do wear. The brushes will start to wear after about 300 shots throwing off your sights. It does not mess up the fletchings at all. Also and old trick is to get a lighter and heat the fletchings up, they somehow straighten right up, but as long as u dont burn them everything should be alright. Ive done this a number of times and seems to do the trick.

Hard to go wrong with a full containment drop away (Ripcord / QAD Ultra).

My shop won't stock Limb Drivers and they hate installing them on bows they sell. They absolutely hate 'em. I hated the one I had my bow for a week.

Good luck.

I agree and most 10 to 1 will agree that the Limb Driver is hard to beat. It's at the very top of the drop away category and one of the easiest to install.

Another I'd be interested in is the Kazaway from Vital Gear. It's a sort of full containment drop away. It holds your arrow when at rest and releases it as the rest rises. I watched a friend of mine shooting this rest at the NE gtg and I was impressed.

Another is the Octane Tripwire. Excellent rest.

I do currently have 5 Limb Drivers but wouldn't hesitate ont he Kazaway or Tripwire.

You cant go wrong with most any rest as feathers will work better than anything else available regardless of rest design. On my compound I use a drop away and shoot all 3 of my trad bows off the shelf.
