Default Rage and cross bows

A friend of mine just had shoulder surgery and will not be able to shoot his bow this year. The surgeon signed a permit for him to shoot a crossbow. My question to you guys and gals is will a rage stay in the closed position during flight? I read on there website and I believe it said that they are rated for 75lbs. I may have missunderstood. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Trust me...have him use NAP Spitfires...they will stay closed...it is the only mechanical I use in my Xbows...and I have one rated at at 225# / 355fps, I am actually getting only 330fps.
I do not know about the rage...but when it comes to XBows the Spitfires will do a tremendous job.

I have a friend that shoots the Rage two blade out of his 225# Excalibur Exomax and they work great for him. They sure leave one heck of a hole. I am shooting theSpitfires this coming season. In the past I have used the Slick Trick Magnums.
