Default Painted our Cabin AND found a late shed. What a great day

Sorry admins, I know this isn't the right forum for this topic but I really have no clue where to put cabin related things and this is where I visit most on HN.

We painted my grandpa's cattle barn last summer and while my dad bought the paint he also bought some paint for our cabin. We never really got around to painting the cabin until today.
Yesterday we powerwasher the cabin and it was sparkling white. Then the next day birds pooped on it and the wind blew some stuff on top so we had to mop it all up. We started primering this morning and after lunch we painted it.

Here is what the cabin looked like after we power washed it...

Yesterday my grandpa brought in a load of sand for our beach. Hopefully after my nephew is done playing in it, it will be spread out. If not we will takea rake to it. Im sure he would have more fun if they were sand hills and not spread out.

Primer is being put on.

Dadprimering the door.

Primer is complete. Next comes the paint.

The equipment.

Before our lunch break I went and set the cameras up in a new spot hoping to get some pictures of some fawns and some coyotes. Well I found a good tree to put my moultrie in and I looked down and saw what at first looked like the end of a branch but then it had a tannish looking color to it so I picked it up and sure enough a shed was laying next to the tree I was putting my camera in. I have pictures of this buck last year to.

Start of the paint. We have two colors of paint. They are both a brownish but one is darker than the other. The roof, door, and the trim were all the dark color. Then the walls were the lighter color.

Dont fall dad...You had to see him yesterday when he was power washing. It was quite funny watching him walk up the roof. He would start sliddingback down. Then he would crawl up.

Darker color is done on the roof and some of the trim.

Painting some trim.

Almost done, just have the small section to do. This is also the lighter color of the two.

It looks AWESOME. I love the new color on it. Having two colors makes it look even better.

If you were wondering why we haven't finished yet, its because we were taking a break and having a few pops.

Here is my sign that I carved in with the wood burner.

The very last swipe.

And of course a picture of our pond. Yes, that is a diving board. We are putting up a rope swing over by the beach. My grandpa's neighbors have some old telephone poles and we are gonna get two and put a swing on them. We will have some fun times with that.
