Default BLAZER CLEARANCE PROBLEMS

Guys...

Question. I read that the blazer vanes (normal size) have clearance issues with the BT Diamond Iceman. Can anyone please verify this for me that has an Iceman ? I am torn between the Iceman and the Black Ice but if there is a clearance issue Im stearing away from the Iceman...

Thanks...

I'm shooting Blazers and others (Same profile) off my Ice Man with a Limb Driver without issues. There are zero clearance issues that I am aware of. I shoot off vane straight up with no issues on cables.

Not a bad problem to have, I might add.[8D] Ihad a slight issueshooting a slightly larger diameter arrow, in which case I just picked upan aftermarket slide. I had to do this with my 07 Commander when I was shooting 22s. It's not a big deal and you shouldn't shy away purely on that point. Both are fine bows and you will be happy with both. The Black Ice is smooth as butter, but you will give up some speed. The Iceman is shock free and awesome as well. We are fortunate to have these hard decisions. I haven't heard of any such problems. I have shot aae max hunters out of Rob'swithout issue and seen him shoot blazers and just about every other type of vane through it.

It shouldn't be a problem if properly setup. I'd think Rob's setup shooting cock vane up with a Limb Driver would be the ticket!

This is from the QRG I have.

Black Ice 310-318fps

Iceman 315-323fps

Very little difference anyway

Clearance problems with blazers are not uncommon. They sit a tad higher. But with a properly setup rest andarrow comboon any bow, they should not be a problem.

On the Diamond site they have the same IBO rating. I have not put the Ice Man through a chrony. I agree they difference is very little.
