Default Old apple press question.

I just recently purchased a new 08 diamond justice with the invelvet camo,my press is a older apple press that uses the rope to pull down on the riser.
Ive used this press on other bows but will the rope hurt the invelvet finish!!!!didnt know how strong the finish is,feels like rubber...thanks for any help on this.

Default RE: Old apple press question.

Personally I wouldn't use that press on a parallel limb bow.
