Default Successful Trip to KS!

We just got back in from across state line. Shawn, Nate, and I headed out this past Thursday to hunt the early archery turkey season that opened April 1st. We were hunting on some ground that our buddy Jason Smith from Whitetail Properties hooked us up with and man, was it awesome! The first day was good and we were in the birds but we just couldn't quite get it done. This morning was a different story though...we had a big tom working good. Gobbling, strutting, the whole nine yards. That is until a coyote came from the field and ran him off. The coyote then came after our decoys and Shawn made him pay! Shortly after the tom started gobbling again and we were able to pull him back into the decoys and finish off an awesome hunt!
