Default G5 Meta Peep Size for Bowtech Tomkat?

My brother is getting a new string put on his Tomkat Saturday and he still has the factory sites on the bow. That being said, what size G5 Meta Peep would you recommend that he get? I was thinking something like 1/4 or 5/16 but I was just wondering what you all would recommend. Thanks!

He should use whatever size lines up with his pin guard...

well not should, but the extra anchor point really helps.

I agree! That's a great sighting tool!

As far as what sells most? It's close between the 3/16" & the 1/4" sizes. I myself use a 3/16" and it works nice for me.

I sell very few of the 5/16", 1/8", or3/32" sizes.

There's no set answer for everyone. There's nothing magical about a TomCat that it requires a particular size. It all depends on how long the A2A of the bow is, the draw length, how far the sight is extended from the bow and the diameter of the pin guard, and how far the peep is from your eye. As mentioned the most common method used today for picking the right size is to encirclethe pin guard within the peep. To do this properly you need to go to a shop and try several differnt sizes.
