Default Morel Mushrooms and Sheds-

I've been shed hunting a bit and looking for morels just wanted to know if anyone has had any luck with either so far? The shrooms should be getting close to coming up around here, they'll go awesome with the backstrap I've got in the freezer!

I would bet the Morels are popping where youre at.Folks have been finding them in southern and central Illinois for a week or two now.Soil temps in Northern Illinois are to cool yet,I hope to hunt sheds and Morels in about two weeks here.

I found 2 sheds out in Illinois, half a 6 pt and half an 8pt, both scrubs...thats it though. A lot of guys out there were saying they really cant find much this year! They seem to think it has something to do with the bad ice storm that hit out west
