Default Danville Il.

Got some land to hunt near Danville Il. this year, was wondering if theres some good hunting there? We might try and go up for Turkey season to hunt and pre scout! Anyone hunt near here?

Ya it's pretty good hunting up there. Not far from IN..
I have an uncle that hunts up that way, he has alot of fields which can be both good and bad. Turkey and Deer are both abundant.. Land of Giants, Good Luck!

I work in Danville and live about 20 miles to the NW. Where abouts will you be hunting(around what town)? Some great hunting here but its alot like anywhere else. Location, location, location, its all about what ground you got access to. Good luck when you come out here.

I've hunted upland birds in that area just north of Danvillefor many manyyears (Vermilion and Iroquois Counties) and have seen lots of nice bucks while Pheasant/Quail hunting.

Congrats on the purchase and good luck hunting!
