Technical question...(but didn't get enough responses in Tech forum)
I'm one of those few archersthat love releasing the string with my fingers, but use a modern compound bow with sights.
I've been using a flipper rest since I went compound 10 years ago. Looking for a replacement option that will keep the arrow from falling off so easily.
The WB caught my eye years ago, but I've heard mixed reviews about how it works with fingers. It seems that this rest would not provide enough consistent side pressure to properly resist the flex of the archer's paradox oscillations.
Any thoughts? ...specifically from those who have tried it and tune their bows using bareshaft and/or walkback methods. Not interested in hear from those who use it but have not technically evaluated their arrow flight.

i use it but not with fingers. but i would think with the full containment it should be a slight bit easier to tune with fingers but i could be wrong. it does require the use of some stiffer vanes though.
It is not the ideal rest for fingers. You have heard correct. That doesn't mean it couldn't be used but I wouldn't do it.IMO,it is not giving you the best chance to be succesful.
I have done it as well and it is not ideal for fingers, I just could not get it tuned using fingers. You should probably look towards a different containment system.
