So I was thinking about my acid dipped fish hooks and how sharp they are. The acid takes of even microscopic burrs and nicks. Would this work for broadheads? Do you know anyone who has tried this? Just a thought.
Lightly stropping your blade on a ceramic stick willburnish the edge just as well and won't weaken the metal. Anything past that is overkill anyway, you can only get a metal blade so sharp without making it too brittle to work.

The Striker blades are freakin sharp, I know from the first time trying to change the blades, a good bit of blood came out [8D]. Other than that my NAP's are also fairly sharp.

Sharpest blades I've seen (felt) right out of the package are the Strikers, closely followed by the Slick Tricks with the new German blades. As for going crazy trying to get them super extra scary sharp, I don't do it.
