Default Thinking about getting a new bow?

With tax returns on the way, I'm sure there is a hand full of people looking into getting a new bow. I was one of those people prior to joining my first winter league. I shoot an AR (Archery Research), and it is not considered to be one of the "top of the line" bows. I have improved my shooting and groupings a lot in 2 months. I found myself shooting better than people who had top of the line bows worth 1,500 and more. Granted, there were guys shooting perfect scores with those bows. If you haven't shot in a league, shoot in one with your current bow before looking to buy something better. I saved myself 1,500 by joining this league (minus the 100 fee). Hope this helps anyone in their decision this year.
