Default Trail Cam

Hey yall. Need to ask for some opinions. I wanting to get a trail cam to put in front of my bow stand. The only problem is that i am a poor college student with not alot of funds lol. So anyone know of a good trail cam i can get for around the $150 range. I appreciate any input.

I currentlyown Stealth Cam, Moultrie andCuddebacks. For the price Stealth Cam is my choice for reliability, image quality and cost. I saw these Covert cameras at the Kinseys dealer show this past weekend. I havent used one in the field yetbut I ordered 1. I tested them out at the show and was extremely impressed. Small and super compact, wired remote programable control, 3MP or 5MP pics, infrared LED for night pics and no flash,8 AA batteries are good for 4000 pictures!! Thats 4 times as many pics as I get off 6 C batteries I use in some of my cameras. Trigger speed is super fast and night pics are good out to 40', day pics the rep said he has pics of a combine more than 100 yards away. Lots of other cool stuff. These cost about$170, it includes the 2G flash card.

I second that, there are better trail cams out there, but for the money, they are a great camera.

Andy,

I'm confused, is this a new company??? or is it thesg550 the same as the hco cam? and which did you order and like from the show, the dlc sg550 or the covert II? and why did you choose one over the other. I was just going to order the HCO sg550v and now i saw your post.....lol I've bought several mid-range cams and the past and have not had any luck! thanks!
