Default Great time at the farm!!!

Yesterday after I got home from school, mom, dad and I headed to the farm to spend the night and the better part of today. Some of the goals of the trip were to burn off parts of a field, pull an old, rundown dock out of our pond, and hopefully find some sheds.

For dinner, we had some venison stakes. I was excited, yet apprehensive about how good they would taste. Surprisingly, they were VERY meaty, and not too tough, at all. YUM!!!!

Here, Dad and I burn off a corner of our field...

Here is the second shed Dad found. This picture was taken before the antler was touched!

In fact, there was still little bits of blood on the bottom...

Here is a picture of the MONSTER sheds that we..... make that Dad, found.

Here is a picture I took. I thought it turned out OK. It looked better in my mind!

I guess I need to get to my place next weekend to see if any bone has hit the ground. Walked for 7 hours last weekend and found 0.

Nice finds by your dad Willie.
