My very first shed of the year, turned out to be one of the ones i was looking for. It took 6 seperate outings for me to find it, but it was well worth it. The area i found it in is an area i dont hunt often, and will start focusing more on next year. Its a network of trails along a swamp/creek bottom that runs in a valley north and south. I know the deer have been using it, but i just havnt had a stand in their before. This is the 2nd shed that i have ever found.

That's a real freak! Congrats on your second find. In 30+ years of hunting I've never even accidentally found one, let alone found one while looking forthem.

If you havnt already figured it out, me and my buddies/family have a long history with this buck. This is the 2nd year that we have been hunting him, and we believe he is only 3.5 years old. The guys here on HNI are probably sick of me talking/posting him...but he's my goal and the dozen or so bucks i let live this year can thank him for that.
