For sure...me attempting it would probably result in a quick trip to the ER Less fingers than I already have, and my left hand is already missing a couple so I can't afford to lose anymore...doesn't mean I won't try though

I made a knife out of a saw blade using those instructions. Being into metallurgy it was right up my alley.

I need to finish the handle and get the blade nice and sharp. Setting the edge is the hardest part when you're making your first knife.

When I get around to finishing it, I will post some pictures.

Looks good! I had never thought of making one out of a saw blade before. Back when I was 13 or so I took a railroad spike and made a knife out of it. It didn't turn out too bad for a 13 year old either.....the only problem is I made the blade so long (7.25in) I don't really have a use for it.
