I would be very subjective of huntinfo.com..

I was also thinking about going on a hunt with them. I talked to them several times. The good news is they are by far the Largest midwest whitetail deer outfitter. They have awesome success rates. And they can't please everyone. I think you would have a great hunt if you chose them. I decided on a different Northern Missouri outfitter, striclty because he runs a smaller outfit. Good luck

Why would go with a smaller outfit, just curoius, think you would have been success, maybe treated better? Thanks!

I really prefer not to hunt with a Big Outfit. I just prefer a different hunt experience, but it's really whatever You are looking for.

I have Mule Deer hunted in NE the last 3 years. The guy Ihooked up with has approx. 1,000 acres of private ground and there is public ground close by. He doesn't live on the ranch, but there is a place where me and a partner can stay.

It's not the Hilton, but very adequate. We are the only Archery hunters he allows during the season which is also a plus to me. I like doing my own scouting and setting up, and after hunting the ranch 3 years I have gotten a pretty good idea how to hunt it.

I like the privacy and flexibility this offers, and also there is a Good Deer population on private ground that is Not accessible to the public.

If I hunted with a Big outfit I would wonder what the last guy that hunted in my stand did? To each their own, but it's not what I look for. It takes a little looking to find what I want but it's always been worth it.

Dan,
I am with you.. The reason I chose not to go with IMB is they acted like I was talking to a corporation or something. Bragging about having 14 fortune 500 companies as sposnsors etc.. The guy I booked with was like hey, we shoot great dear every year, here are a dozen references some good, some bad, come and hunt with me if you would like. Stand up guy. And his land gets very little hunting pressure. My group gets the first crack at 7000 acres of prime whitetail grounds. It just felt better to me.
Check him out if you would like.

Default Would recommend IMB Outfitters anytime.

I hunted with IMB in fall of 2010,2011, and have rebooked for 2012. I have hunted all over the US and have found my personal outfitter. When my son and I started looking for an outfitter in the midwest to make our annual trip together we were skeptical because of some bad reviews and forums just like this one!! People like this guy couldn't be more unaccurate. From the time we walked into the door to the time we booked our hunt for the following year we were treated with respect and proffessionalism. This is a top notch outfit and I would recomend them to anyone who asks. We did not harvest a buck in our first outing with them but saw alot of decent deer. The stand setups were spot on and set up on some of the most amazing ground I have ever had the privilage of stepping foot on. These guys have really got there stuff together and my son and I have made friends there that will last a lifetime. I guess you can't make everyone happy but some of the things this guy says I find very hard to believe after hunting three seasons with IMB Outfitters. Since 2010 my son and I have harvested several great bucks and God willing we will hunt with them there from now on!!!

I agree. I have hunted with IMB Outfitters for the past three seasons. The first two seasons were Illinois rut bowhunts and last year was a combo hunt Illinois bowhunt and Missouri Gun Hunt. This past year was my first time harvesting a buck. Three years, 1buck should say enough about what a great place it is from the lodging to the guides and the hunts themselves. Year 1 my fault my miss on 150 incher, Year 2 was great but couldnt get the right shot , and a successful Year 3. I have seen multiple bucks, shooters, and have been nothing but satisfied. I highly recommend IMB, I own three businesses myself and it is hard to please everyone.
