Default My new creations

Today I was extremely bored... my friend was suppose to come over but she got sick...all the snow turned into slush so its no fun to play outside. I was laying in my bed thinking of something to do and what finally popped into my mind after hours of laying there was to build something hunting related.

This past season I have been trying to find better ways to film my hunts. So I tried building types of camera mounts...

I googled tree camera mounts and looked at some of the pictures of them and sorta go an idea for mine.

The steel part rotates about 270 degrees and then the camera part rotates 360 degrees and tilts up and down about 180 degrees. I tested it out on that tree and it is pretty much capable of getting in any directionI need. One strap is all I need to keep it to the tree. Good thing my dad is a sandblaster/painter because the steel is really rusty and has a little bit of white paint on part of it. When im completely dont it is going to be black.

The second thing I made was a camera mount for my bow.

I hope this next season I can get some deer on camera.

Btw, all this came from a mind of a 14 year old. You can make/do anything as long as you put your mind to it and be creative.

So how do you trigger the bow mounted camera while you are shooting.
Very impressed with your work.

Rickmur, you have to start recording before you draw.
