I am not sure what part of Maine you are hunting in. But a lot of guides here love bowhunters as well. It brings them some more dollars as well as some will tell you " that a bow does the most damage to a bear than they have ever saw from a rifle ". Do not give Maine a bad name my friend.. I have hunted in the Hainesville area myself. I also have a few friends over in the Kingman area..
