I used a ladder stand and ground blind mostly this year. The blind was for situations where I wanted to be in a very specific spot but there is no tree suitable for a stand. I got it out, and brushed-in in the summer time, so the deer were very used to it and that helped a lot.I recently bought a climber, Im looking forward to being more mobile this coming fall.. There were multiple times in the early season where I could have ambushed a buck I saw on a regular basis, but without a climber, there was reallyno way I could get in there. Lesson learned I guess

You know, I hunt out of all of the above mentioned stands and blinds, but I chose a lock on for my situation. It's easier to relocate a lock on than the other types of stands (at least for me) and I'd rather hunt off the ground if the setup allows for it.

I voted lockon(hangon) only because I do have a few pre-hung in my best spots, but I do hunt a lot using my climber and use LW sticks with the LW Assault hangon quite a bit for mobility.

I prefer to use my LW sit and climb when the situation (proper tree)allows, because of quick, quiet, and easy climbing. If I can't find "the tree" for my climber, then my LW Assault get's commissioned.

i hunt on primarily private land, so i prefer the ladder stands. i can leave them up all year and i find that they are more comfotable and less hassle once i get them set..

I actually utilize all 4 and I voted hang on's because that is what I use the most.

I doubt they are the easiest, but very mobile and that can be important, plus you can get in and out very quiet when the need arises.

I use both a lock on and a climber. I like the lock on because of it is easier to be on stand and quiter. I like my climber for mobility
