Default Well, that's it. Season over in KY...

I'm deeply sadden today. The season is officially over here in KY. I ended up this season with 2 doe. My brother and I went out yesterday evening for the last hunt and no luck. To windy. No buck for me this year, which is my fault, I passed up 2 that were shooters, but I was waitin' for the big guy.Oh well....

I miss hunting in Kentucky. I have family in Trigg County and used to hunt one of their farms...haven't been in a couple years. Maybe I can get there next year!!!

Two does is awesome! I haven't killed a deerin five years with my bow. I did pass up twelve different bucks and a hand full of does last year. The only thing I shot at and missed was a yote thatwas about fifty yardsbut I did manage to killone rabbit. I rather watch the deer then killthemunless its Pope and Young status. Last year we got five AG does that a friend shot and didn't want to clean them, so we had plenty of tasty back straps, jerky and loins to go around. Can't wait for Sept to roll around

Well, my first one got devoured quickly at Christmas and the second is being processed for JERKEY and SAUSAGE! (Hot and Mild) CANT WAIT!

However, I'm already anticipating the next season!

Congrats on a successful season. Knocking down two whitetails is never a bad year.
