Default Stabilizers...help???

ok i shoot a PSE Firestorm X and im thinking of getting a stabilizer. ive noticed that they are a little expensive. but before i buy one can someone explain to me how they work and how they will improve my accuracy? also does anyone have one that they dont use that i can have?

Im still deciding between a Mathew's Reezin, DXT, or hyperlight.

Didn't get a chance to shoot the bowtechs, but all my friends have mathews... its like fords vs. chevys for us lol

I don't shoot with a stabilizer for vibration reduction,although they really help with that,I use them for balance and STABILIZATION.I will add weight out in front of my stab and it will help settle any excess movement down to make it easier to aim with,I even do this to my hunting bows.

This is a pic of my hunting bow with a 6" vibracheck stabilizer with a heavy 3",4.9 oz doinker on the end.

I have a 10" Fuse Axium on order to go on it and it has all the weight out front.

I've been considering switching to a longer stab. I currently shoot one thats like an inch... is it worth it??

PS. the DXT is an awesome bow.. my Dad just picked up one
