My younger brother was looking for a new bow for next year so we went looking and the shop about 30 minutes away...they had brand new 08's Limbsaver Deadzones for $399!!! He shot it and bought it. he got a QAD rest, a Limbsaver Stabilizer, a g5 peep, kisser, and a True Glow 3 pin sight all for $580!! I thought it was a good deal, anyone else think so??

IMO, end of year close outs are the BEST way to purchase a bow. Dealers don't like to carry a "last years" models in the new year, so they usually blow them out. No different than a car dealer. Buying a current model yearupper end bow these days is literally like throwing $200-300 down the toilet. I just got a heck of a deal on a new '08 Allegiance....WAAAAYYYYY less than I would have paid for it even 3mos ago.

Speaking of car dealers...a guy I know just bought a loaded '08 F250 4dr 4wd....and the dealer threw in a new '08 Focus with it! LOL....thats what you call REALLY wanting to get rid of your inventory!

Heck of a deal....but of course, its still a Ford

Right now just about all car dealers are making deals,many don't have much of a choice.
