Default Couple little guys still packin!

Had to test out the new cuddeback capture IR that I just got. So i put it out on a travel route between a pine bedding area and some standing corn. Heres what I found...

Is it true that big bucks shed sooner?

I've heard that stress has a lot to do with antler shedding...

I havnt a clue, but was actually pondering that same question earlier. Last real nice rack buck that I have seen was 2 weeks ago on around this same corn field, I was hoping to get him on cam. Maybe there is a guru around here somewhere that can answer that...

A lot of it depends on their hormonal levels and stress. I know a guy who puts out a big round hay bale and they get stuck in there.

Yesterday on my way to work I saw 2 bucks with no antlers. Just saw the white spots on there head.

I always thought that once they shed them the 1st time they will shed them close to the same time every year. Maybe I'm wrong to.
