Sweet... i hunted in Oneida where I live for my first 3 years. Its awsome now because I hunt right on the edge of Buffalo County because I go to college at UW-La Crosse
How'd your season go?

I seen one monster 8 outside buffalo twice during the first 2 weeks, then he dissapeared somehow.... i seen another fork almost every night and morning. pretty slow all bow season. i needed to earn a buck also, so i took a doe during the antlerless gun, then that was pretty much the end
not much a success for me, but seeing that 8 boosted my season a little

yeah seeing a buck like that would have kept me going too, I didn't even see a buck all season long, hunted the rut hard too, alot of does but no bucks...I was really disappointing about that but there is always next year. everybody that I hunted with though was always in the stand to see bucks, the kid I hunt with even shot a buck about 50 yards away from me once...nice buck too, it was a 8 pointed with a 17" spread.

While I was born in Medford, I haven't hunted too much up there because I moved to the La Crosse area in the late 60's and then to S.C. in 92. My cousins hunt up there and I've hunted the Cheguamagon with them before.
My Dad, grandpa, uncles used to hunt there a lot.
