Default Horns are falling as of yesterday!

I got my truck stuck in the bean field and was walking around the passenger side to see the damage when I notice the pair about 20 yards ahead. I bent down and picked up both sides in one scoop. A little blood in the base still but he was a 5 x 6 with probably a 16 inch spread. Really neat split brow tine on his left side. Next year with 20 inches he will go 150+. Gotta get the horse out and walk the fields.

The extreme cold weather and ice here in Iowaright after the ruthas definately put some stress on the bucks this year.

I believe the more active a Buck is breeding the quicker his testosterone levels drop and the quicker he will shed.

This is extremely early, but it does happen. A lot of breeders will shed during Jan. and a few Bucks will carry their Antlers into March.

Congrats on a Nice find!! Man Law demands Pics!!
