Default Whoops Shot A Button Buck

Went out Friday afternoon to my buddies farm to do some nanny whacking and took a button buck. Got out about 3:30 and had action 15 to 20 minutes after I got in stand. Had a little six point come out first that I took a couple pictures of. Two fawnscame out about 15 minutes later, I pegged them both as doe/fawns. I guess mistakes happen. Anyway right beforehe stepped intothe shooting lane I pulled back and my cablegaurd made an awfulcreak. He stood there for atleast 4 minutes and then stepped out and I let him have it. All I can say is a little more buffer to the bottom of my freezer.

A few pictures of the night

Little Six Point

Last year during firearm season, almostat the veryend of legal hunting hour, I shot what I thought was a large doe, which ended up being a button buck. I felt bad about it, but like the other guys said, "it happens".
