Default Going to buy first bow. Shot a lot of them today. I picked the..............

I picked the Hoyt Power Hawk. It felt right and the price was in my leauge (~479.00)

Does anyone have any experiance with a 2008 either good or bad? Does anyone know anything about the 2009 model?

Is this a good choice for a starter bow? Thanks.

The Powerhawks and Superhawks are '09 models. They were an early release.

Joe,

I didn't buy it yet. Wanted to sleep on it. Just wanted to get opinion on what I felt was the best bow I shot today in my price range.

LMAO!!!! Nope, they have a newer lower priced couple of bows.

GFY,
That's a decent bow, and if it's in your budget and you're happy with it, that's what's important. Outfit it as you wish, but I'd highly recommend a micro-tune rest whatever you get. They make tuning a much less tedious process. Good Luck!!!!

They are definately a good bang for the buck bow. You wont be dissappointed.

It is Hoyts lower line of bow, but trust me, that doesnt mean its not a great bow. You will have a very nice, brand new bow for a good price.
