Default Admiral vs Captain!

I have shot both bows 5-6 times each and I am trying to decide which I like better. I am comparing them to my Guardian which I really, really like. I don't know if I will trade for one or not I have to shoot them more. For the guys that have shot them which one do you like best?

I have shot the Admiral, but not the Captain. I am going to order a Captain next week.

I just prefer bows with an A to A of 34" to 36" The Admiral is definitely a Sweet bow, and I would be surprised if it is not the Top seller this year.

For me it was just a personal preference thing on what I like as far as A to A.

I also have a Sentinel ordered!

The Admiral is definitely a bit lighter and more maneuverable in a treestand or ground blind, but the Captain may be a touch "deader" at the shot. I haven't yet shot them one right after the other, as my Admiral is out in my Jeep as I've been hunting almost every day, and my Captain is hanging in my shop. I've been shooting it across the basement mostly.

It's a tough call; I'm glad I've got both.

I agree the Admiral is a sweet bow. Wait till you shoot the Captain it is just as sweet in my opinion.

I'm sure the Captain is Sweet, and I know the 34" A to A will give me the feel I'm looking for.

The admiral is nimble, and light and is "dead" enuff in the hands. The captain will/should be a little more stable though. The captain is heavier and i think its heavy in an awkward place. Its top heavy and you can feel it while drawn. The admiral is a tad more balanced at the draw. Its all what you want man, it really is. Speed, quietness, hand shock, and almost all of the other ergos are basically the exact same. I personally liked the "feel" of the admiral a touch better, but i like a longer bow.

Forgot to add, the captains draw isnoticeably smoother than the admirals as well.

You're right!! They never make the decision an easy one.
