Default Got a nice X-mas bonus. Going to start bow-hunting!

My work gave me a nice bonus. Going to buy a bow in Jan and practice practice practice for next year!!!!!!

Not bragging just excited to start!!!!!!!!!

Sick of only having a having only a 9 day gun season and that is my whole season. Looking foward to hunting the real rut for the first time.

Well, not really sure yet. To be honest, I don't know anything about bows. I am starting by going to my local small bow shop and they told me when I am ready to come on down and they will get me started right.

I am looking to spend about $500 so we will see what that gets me. Sounds like the Marlins would be a good fit?

Brad, what shop are you going to??? If Ii were you I would go out to Buck Rub Outfitters off 94 and SS in Pewaukee. Great shop, good guys, great range and usually the 1st week of Jan they have a 20% off everything in the store! I have been to every shop around the area and finally found a good one in Buck Rub! Talk to Kaz or Dan, good guys!

Shoot every bow you can, each bow shoots different!

Merry X-mas Joe!

My plan wasto go to Midwestern Shooters Supply in Lomira. Seemed like the guys there were pretty nice and I have bought most of my firearms from there.Have you heard anythingabout them or have any experiance yourself?

I am open to suggestions so fire away.
