will you be my grandpa?? I want to come and sit on the floor Indian Style ((sorry Mobow) and listen for hrs....please tell me the story of the Buffalo with the bow...

I think ahunter55 said he killed his first deer with a bow in 1958, never gun hunted and has taken numerous Big Game animals across North America. Thanks John for taking time to share some ofthatlife with us.

Matt/Pa....call it freaky, creepyor whatever...this guyhas more knowledge of bowhunting in his thumbnail than all of us put together...I could sit and listen to his stories all day....

If someone honestly snapped a shot of you lookin at it while you werent paying attention, then its a cool shot.

LOL I am thinking the opposite myself. A posed picture would be kind of "campy" but if someone just sits around gazing at a deer's rack then there may be a problem .

LOL, all true. In alot of cases though, the gaze is really just a brief 5 secondlook at the deer before you start guttin it, someone just happened to have a camera...thats how I got a pic with this "creepy" pose this year. Didnt realize Dad took the pic until I was back home downloadin them on the computer. Either way, I almost deleted the picture.[8D]

So we have established there are two sides to this creepiness.

1. Those who pose in awe of a deer, almost to the point of infatuation.
2. Those who literally sit around gazing in awe of a deer for extended periods of time.
